Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Rose jumps, startled. An aura of power surrounds her, and it's not all demonic. "I'm...here to talk to Gale Onarav. I-I have a deal to make with him."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Gale looks down at Laena and tries to move over to her. Despite being disoriented, he's managed to realize she'll stay in a state of "limbo" if she keeps losing the blood she makes. "Hm..Abbis can't heal things, we never learned how." Gale is interrupted by One's message. "Find out who it is and what they want, I shall then determine if they shall enter. I'm trying to keep Laena from bleeding. Healing and medical work never was my forte."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
A pool of blue blood is starting to form around Laena where she lays.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Gale kneels down and see the two stab wounds in Laena's stomach. He lifts her up slightly and sees the two other wounds on her back. "Christ woman, no wonder you're painting my floor blue with blood." Gale places his right hand on Laena's stomach and his left hand on her back, trying to keep all the blood from escaping. "Never thought I'd be doing something like this..It's been a crazy week."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Ten minutes pass. Fifteen. Thirty. Forty.
She suddenly wraps her arms around Gale, and after spitting out a mouthful of blood, starts singing weakly. A soft blue light envelopes them both. |
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Gale has had many visitors these past few days. You could say he's sick of the company." He smirks. "I'm sure the issues of a young girl are not so impotant."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Gale's eyes widen with Laena's sudden activity, and how close she is to him. "Eh..I guess you really are immortal."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
As her strength returns, so does the power of her voice. The blue light brightens as she works to heal Gale's wounds as well.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"No, please, I have to see Gale! My name is Rose. He knows who I am. I need to speak with him, please, it's my only chance!" The aura around Rose shimmers and folds in on itself.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Please tell me what 'deal' you have with Gale. Then I will consider whether or not you will be let in to see him." While he is stalling with the young girl, he contacts Gale: "The child is named Rose. She claims you know her. She is about to tell me what she wants with you, do not open yet. Just tell me if you know her. Oh, and have you helped Laena?"
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"I...I want to be trained by him. In battle and magic. He's the strongest person I know, not even Mo-er...my parents could beat him in a fight." She flushes, not wanting to think about what exactly her parents would say if they caught her here.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Gale's face turns a light shade of red again as Laena clings to him. Even if she was healing them both, he wasn't use to this. He was relieved when One gave him something else to think about. "Yes I do know here. Find out what she wants. Laena is...doing better."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Strongest person you know?" One smiles to himself as he thinks of the current situation Gale is in. "My name is One Avalon. I doubt you heard that name before, but I am Gale's older brother. Are you so sure Gale will let you train under him? Don't think he's nice and will hold your hand through the sessions, he's tough. But good luck anyway, Rose" One contacts Gale again. "She wants to train under you. I think she's a bit off, but I don't think she means harm. It is your choice whether you want her to come in or not."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
The light eventually fades, and she falls asleep in Gale's arms, much to his own discomfort. ((XP))
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Gale looks at the sleeping Laena for a moment and fidgets. He wasn't in the postions before, or ever. He than answers One. "Intresting, come to the library and notify me. Then I'll open it for you."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Looks at Rose. "Please, follow me. We're going to the library. To be trained, you need to know your history." He smirks and leads her inside. They go through a series of hallways and rooms, a few minutes later they reach the door of the library. "Open up, Gale."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Gale does not respond, but instead carries Laena to "her" room and places the Siren on her bed. He steps back into the library and snaps his finger. The door unlocks.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Shortly after Gale leaves, her eyes shoot open. She sits up slowly, placing a hand on her now healed stomach. Confusion spreads across her face, as she has no recollection of being stabbed or being healed.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
One pushes on the door and leads Rose in. He sees Gale. "Where is Laena? And how did you heal so quickly?"
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"She's sleeping in her room. I'll explain some other time." He turns to Rose and scoffs. "And what is this deal I've been told of?"
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Rose looks around. Memories spring unbidden to her mind. She shakes her head and firmly ignores them. She strides into the room with what she hopes is a confident air. The aura around her, however, betrays her fear as it grows and doubles in its power. "G-Gale. I want to train under you. I am strong, I can feel it. The magic burns in me, begging to be used. Teach me how to control this, Gale. Teach me how to fight, how to win." Her eyes-Gale's eyes-flicker with a light. "Surely, surely he will let me fight under him...?"
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Gale examines his nails, only paying half-attention to the child. "And what do I gain from this deal?"
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Rose's spirits soar. He accepted! "I grant you fealty, Gale Onarav. I am yours to command."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
One raises an eyebrow. He was almost sure Gale would decline. "Gale, I'm sure you have better things to do than teach a five-year old. For instance, get better security around the castle???"
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"An easily bendable demon IS good defense, dear brother." "If she knows what she's doing, she'll be effective as defense, and I always have time for other things. I won't be training this punk every moment of every day." Gale turns to Rose. "Here's a few ground rules. Defy me, I kill you. Go into rooms I forbid you to, I kill you. Leave this castle without permission, I kill you. Fail to keep up, I kill you. Acceptable?"
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Laena slips in quietly, glancing at the dried blue blood on the floor. She arches an eyebrow at the child, a sneer tugging at her lips. She turns to Gale. "I apologize for otherwise ruining your floors, Gale."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Gale turns to Laena. "I see it didn't take you long to recover."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
One smiles and crosses his arms. "Ya know what? I planned on leaving soon, to continue my travles, but I don't want to miss this. Gale's Apprentice." He laughs.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
She smiles slightly. "I have learned that I am not the only one to heal as such.... What is this wretched creature doing here?" She nods slightly at Rose.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"With any luck she'll take care of my defense problems."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Laena seems to find the idea amusing. "For once, I am afraid I cannot trust your judgement.. This child is nothing more than a helpless weakling; she will be only a burden on you."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"If she can't keep up, she dies. I call it the "weeding out the ****" training program."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"I agree with Laena. When I was young, I thought I had power beause I was able to climb a tree. She probably is a regular human who doesn't know anything." "Besides, one pawn isn't good enough for security."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Laena shrugs slightly. "It is his decision, not ours.." She runs a slender hand through her bright blue hair. "I believe I never did get around to bringing you drinks..." With that she turns and disappears.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"She's a demon. I've yet a demon that couldn't kill something other then insects with it's bare hands." "You need to start somewhere, no? Besides, she'll be easy to control and not powerful enought to undermine me." He glances at Laena. "Try not to get maimed this time."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
As vaguely as possible. "Since we are on the subject, when shall we begin researching the Infusion?"
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
She returns with a large bottle of wine and two glasses. "Do you drink water, ever? I would imagine it gets tiresome drinking only wine.." She sets the glasses on the table and pours them some wine.
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"Of course I have water. You can have some if you find where I get it." Gale turns to One. "I'll start tomorrow. I've gone through enough **** today."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
"We'll star tomorros, then." Turns to Laena. "In Obersin, wine is all that we had." He grabs a glass and takes a sip. "Amazing that after all these years, the wine is still refreshing, Gale."
Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Laena shudders slightly at the sight of One consuming that wretched drink, then turns away to peruse through a bookcase.
